We are pleased to announce that we are now offering an experience of a lifetime for international school students in the largest natural museum in the world – Nepal.
Our fully-inclusive tours provide an unforgettable experience in this beautiful country and offer a unique opportunity for students to learn independence, participate in challenging activities and discover a history and culture not found anywhere else in the world.
Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity, due to its unique geographical position and altitude variation. Green paddy terraces, wind-swept deserts, dense forests and marshy grasslands greet the visitor with the constant backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas. Culturally and historically, Nepal is also rich and diverse and a melting pot of Hinduism and Buddhism, which have co-existed down the ages.
Our comprehensive tour itineraries balance physical activities and challenges with cultural visits and conservation presentations. Our itineraries are fully-customisable to meet a group’s particular requirements, but we do recommend that trekking be the focus of the itinerary as it offers the most rewarding way to experience Nepal’s culture and natural environment. The trek (typically 4 days along well-established trails) offers the rare and unique opportunity to make close contact with rural people living in much the same way as generations ago, without many possessions the developed world takes for granted. The Nepalese people are by nature friendly and welcoming of tourists and trekking with children gives an extraordinary source of contact. Although challenging, our treks are suitable for anyone with an average level of fitness and do not require any particular skills or experience.
Depending on the length of the tour, typical itineraries will include, in addition to the trek, mountain biking in the Kathmandu valley, rafting and camping on the Seti river, a stay at a wildlife resort in the Chitwan National Park and guided visits to UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
