~Leysin benefits from being close to Geneva and is an established mountain town with impressive sports facilities.
Just an hour and a half from Geneva, Leysin offers well-maintained pistes, modern lift installations and one of only three revolving mountain restaurants in Switzerland - the Kuklos at 2048m.
Leysin is an all-year-round resort and considered the "educational capital" of Switzerland with its many established language and finishing schools. Perched high above Lake Geneva, Leysin has magnificant views across the lake towards Geneva, as well as to the impressive Dents du Midi mountain range.
The town offers some of the most impressive facilities of any ski resort in Switzerland with numerous cafes, bars, night clubs, restaurants and shops as well as a large indoor ice-skating rink and swimming pool.
~Accommodation
The Chalet Fougères offers comfortable, traditional accommodation.
Bedrooms sleep 2-8, on three floors, and all have sinks. There are bathroom facilities on each floor.
The ground floor offers a large sunny dining room, affording splendid views, where all meals are taken, as well as a lounge area with satellite TV and table tennis.
