~Saas Grund provides the ideal base to explore the extensive pistes of its famous neighbour, Saas Fee.
With skiing to 3600m, snow is reliable throughout the season and Saas Fee offers some of the most sophisticated mountain transport in the Alps, including the underground Metro Alpin to the revolving restaurant at Mittelallalin.
Saas Grund is deservedly popular with groups. Just ten minutes bus ride to the car-free resort of Saas Fee, Saas Grund itself offers some stunning views to the eighteen 4000m high peaks of the Saas Valley as well as a diverse range of winter sporting activities.
The village offers impressive facilities with numerous cafes, bars, night clubs, restaurants and shops as well as both a natural and an artificial ice-skating rink. A swimming pool is available at Saas Fee.

The Hotel Rodania is centrally located in a sunny position and is very popular with groups.
Spacious bedrooms sleep 2-6, and all have en-suite facilities.
