Programme Manager

Gross monthly salary: CHF 4,500 – Convert to other currencies
Approx net weekly salary: CHF 635 – Convert to other currencies

The programme manager is an important part of our management team and is responsible for all aspects of our operations in a resort. Programme managers are highly talented, natural leaders and role models to both the children in our care as well as our staff. Programme managers are available to clients and staff 24/7.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent in French or German an advantage.
  • First aid and CPR qualification issued by a recognised body.
  • Internationally recognised ski and/or snowboard instructor qualification or alternatively an advanced level skier or snowboarder with extensive ski or snowboard teaching experience to advanced level.
  • Experience supervising, teaching and motivating children, preferably in a camp environment.
  • Experience of managing, organising and motivating staff, preferably in a camp environment.
  • Organised, creative, adaptable, trustworthy, patient and presentable.

Net weekly salary is offered only as a guideline to indicate the approximate net salary after tax (for an unmarried person with no dependent children) and other deductions have been made and is subject to change. All salaries are paid at the end of each calendar month in Swiss francs (CHF).

Duties and responsibilities

  • Play a leadership role in the compulsory training and assessment period.
  • Take responsibility for the organisation of a daily programme of skiing and snowboarding, an evening activity programme and scheduling of supervisory duties (see detailed responsibilities).
  • Be a role model to the staff, acting professionally and showing support and understanding at all times, as well as motivating and disciplining as necessary.
  • Be an ambassador of Viamonde, liaising and communicating with clients, particularly the group leader, at all times.
  • Be a role model to the children, acting responsibly and in a caring manner at all times.
  • Show understanding of and appreciation for diverse cultural backgrounds within the children, school chaperones and Viamonde staff.
