Working for Viamonde this past winter was the best experience! As a travel nurse in the U.S., I am used to a new job every few months but this has been my favourite job and one of my best winters ever! I really enjoyed being a part of the program and the job was so fun that it rarely ever felt like work. It will be hard to go back to the hospital setting now. I had the opportunity to work with staff and school groups from all over the world and you can’t beat spending a winter outside in the Swiss Alps!
I had the best time and it really motivated me for next season. Everyone was so friendly and the work was so varied and interesting. The environment is great and the children really love it. This is a brilliant opportunity to spend time in the mountains, doing what you love.
Working for Viamonde as a ski and snowboard counsellor is a very rewarding and an amazing job. It’s very special to work in the mountains and share your passion, but even more special to share this with international school children from all over the world.
Some of my best memories are from my time with Viamonde. The friends I have made while working there will be friends for life. The staff are Viamonde are fantastic, everybody feels welcome and it is more like a family environment than just work colleges. Highly recommend a position with Viamonde.
Working at in Anzère has been an amazing experience, working alongside a very talented group of people.
Favourite part about working at Viamonde was spending an entire week with a group of young people and seeing their amazing progress. Some groups had never tried snow sports before, but after a week of skiing or riding with friends and instructors, they were usually ripping around. It was also great to get to know kids from many cultures and countries.
Working for Viamonde is a great experience, working in beautiful but different resorts in the Swiss Alps. Working long days can be difficult but it’s well rewarded with good pay, accommodation and tasty food. It’s a great opportunity to share our passion for the snow with a huge variety of kids coming from all over the globe
