Healthcare counsellors are responsible for both client and staff health. Daily responsibilities will include providing first aid when required, managing and administering prescribed medication as well as maintaining detailed medical records and producing comprehensive reports, as required.
Healthcare and ski/snowboard counsellors have most of the responsibilities of ski/snowboard counsellors and in addition to daily healthcare duties, are responsible for the daily supervision and instruction of a small group of children with a similar ski or snowboard ability.
Net weekly salary is offered only as a guideline to indicate the approximate net salary after tax (for an unmarried person with no dependent children) and other deductions have been made and is subject to change. All salaries are paid at the end of each calendar month in Swiss francs (CHF).
The above requirements, duties and responsibilities, as well as indicated salaries, refer to the roles “Healthcare & ski counsellor” and “Healthcare & snowboard counsellor”.
Occasionally, the role “Healthcare counsellor” is available, generally for only short periods of employment and with a reduced salary. Healthcare counsellors will not be assigned to a group of children, but are expected to participate in all aspects of the programme, including the ski and snowboard supervision, evening activities and supervisory duties. Successful applicants for this role will have at least intermediate ability in either skiing or snowboarding and will be confident to ski or snowboard in all conditions on all pistes.
